This scan is designed to assess the well-being of your baby and provide you with the very first 4D images of him or her, creating an exciting and emotional experience. Our qualified sonographers will conduct necessary measurements to ensure that your baby is active and growing as expected. They will also assess the amniotic fluid levels, the condition and position of your placenta, and estimate the fetal weight. With this package you will get extra time to have the opportunity to bond with your baby, seeing his/her face (if not hiding!), perhaps yawning or even sucking his/her thumb, creating cherished memories to hold onto forever.

The Procedure
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. You will be welcomed at our clinic and asked to complete an informed consent form before each scan.
- When ready, the sonographer will welcome you in the consultation room, confirm your details, the reason for your scan and discuss any particular concerns you may have.
- The sonographer will perform a transabdominal scan applying a gentle pressure on your belly with a probe.
- The sonographer will perform wellbeing checks and explain to you what you are seeing. He/she may be quiet for a few moments while concentrating on measurements.
- The sonographer will switch to 3D and 4D technology to get a peek of your baby. You may be asked to stand up, walk around or come back a bit later or at a different time if your baby is not quite getting in the right position for good views. Please note that there are several factors affecting the quality of 3D and 4D views which are not within the sonographer’s control.
- At the end of the appointment, you will be invited back to the reception room where you can collect your report and prints.
