Are you eager to discover whether you are expecting a baby boy or a baby girl? Please let us know how and when you would prefer to find out: either during your appointment with our pink or blue lighting reveal, or through a gender reveal card or cannon if you wish to keep it a secret for a bit longer and share later with family and friends! We will make every effort to accommodate your preferences.
The initial part of the scan is dedicated to assessing the well-being and growth of your precious baby.
What's Included?

The Procedure
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. You will be welcomed at our clinic and asked to complete an informed consent form before each scan.
- When ready, the sonographer will welcome you in the consultation room, confirm your details, the reason for your scan and discuss any particular concerns you may have
- The sonographer will perform a transabdominal scan applying a gentle pressure on your belly with a probe.
- The sonographer will perform wellbeing checks and explain to you what you are seeing. He/she may be quiet for a few moments while concentrating on measurements.
- The sonographer will focus on views to determine the sex of your baby. Please inform the sonographer in advance if you would not like to find out in the room.
- At the end of the appointment, you will be invited back to the reception room where you can collect your report and prints.
- Should the baby not be in a favorable position to confirm the sex, the sonographer may ask you to come back later in the day or on a different day.
- Please note that no rescans will be offered if you are less than 16 weeks pregnant.
