No. All our family planning services are available directly to you without a GP referral. You can book carrier screening, hormone testing, or follicle tracking whenever you’re ready to start planning your pregnancy. Results can be discussed with your GP or fertility specialist.
Hormone test results (Female Hormone Profile) are typically available within 3-5 working days. Carrier screening results take 2-3 weeks as the comprehensive genetic analysis requires specialized laboratory processing. Follicle tracking provides immediate visual assessment during each scan appointment.
Yes. If you’re found to be a carrier of a genetic condition, we can arrange carrier screening for your partner to assess whether they carry the same condition. On request, we can also offer Well Man profiles and Male Hormone testing if your partner wants to optimize his fertility health before conception: please enquire with the clinic.
